Follows the perilous journey of a rebellious young soldier who discovers he's the unlikely savior of humanity. Dominion is an epic supernatural drama set in the near future. Specifically, 25 years after "The Extinction War," when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, waged war against mankind. The archangel Michael, turning against his own kind, chose to side with humanity. Rising out of the ashes of this long battle are newly fortified cities which protect human survivors. At the center of the series is the city of Vega, a glistening empire that has formed from the ruins of what was once Las Vegas. This is a first season. Some shows start out slow (like Defiance) but get better with following seasons. I like the program and feel it will get even better with time. I feel that the comments I have read are too harsh. My 40 year old son also likes the program. I like the effects and don't feel the actors are bad at all. I am wondering when we will get to see new episodes. I want to see what happens next. Let's give it a break. Many people in these days and times know very little about the bible. I feel this show may help get people interested in reading the bible which is a book of history and faith. I am not a religious fanatic or anything but the bible is referred to in our everyday life and people should be aware of it so they don't appear ignorant. Had a lot of promise at the beginning, but going downhill from there. The story line is chaotic at best. The show is very mono toned even the action scenes are dull.(who is going to carry swords in 2046). I like some of the characters, but the chosen one is the worst. He is very flat and comes off as a spoiled child. Most of the show is a Big soap opera, and the writers are trying very hard to be a X-rated show which adds nothing to the story. Sci-Fi channel has taken Science Fiction away from the young folks and spread it on the cover of Hustler Magazine!!! Every time Writers try to do story's about a religious topic as Angels and God, it seems they try to get so far away from the fundamentals that make the story interesting in the first place…
